What is Apigenin?

Apigenin is a kind of natural flavonoid compound, derived from the plant Apium graveolens L.var.dulce DC. The leaves are mainly found in the Daphne family, verbena family, and Selaginaceae plants, and are widely distributed in warm tropical vegetables and fruits, and in some plant-derived beverages, such as tea, wine and some condiments.
